VERSE:Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. Romans 5:3-4
THOUGHT:What are you living to produce in your life? Wealth? Fame? Status? Significance? Legacy? How about character! Isn't having the character of God our real goal in life? So even in our worst of times, if we can be people of character, then nothing can steal from us our most desired goal, the character of God, given us in Jesus Christ.
PRAYER:Dear Father, please bless me so that I can be strong in difficult times and consistent in holy character. Please give me a heart of courage and compassion so that in some small way I can more nearly remind others what you are like and what you can do in their lives. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.
Just thought I would share something that is keeping us going. We know that God is faithful and will see me through!

ReplyDeleteYou probably don't remember who we are but if you know Liberty, Addison & Arrington we are their Memee & Pops. We are so proud of you and your determination to conquer dermatomyositis. You can do it with all the prayers helping you along the way.
We pray for you often. We nicknamed Arrington "Rocky" when she was fighting her struggles. You can be "Rocky II". WE are so thankful that you and your family are strong Christians that know miracles still happen today. We want to share your story and you be another miracle.
We love you little girl. Hang in there for a a cure so you can witness to other little boys and girls.
