Good Days 2/26/09 to 2/28/09

The last few days have been good for Kya. Her movement seems to be steadily increasing. Her rash varies quite a bit from day to day. It will look good one day and be pretty red the next! We go back to OKC on Monday for PT/OT, a treatment, and to see her pediatric Rheumatologist. What a fun full day! Please continue to remember her in your prayers on Monday as treatments are never any fun.
Kya watched her sister play basketball today. She likes to watch her team and cheer for her sister. After the game Kya got to go visit Delma. She was so excited to get to see her, she has really missed her. Actually, she wanted to stay at her house and wanted me to go away.
Then tonight she stayed with grandma Trish and played with Kaden! She loves to play with her cousins! As a special surprise when we got home Uncle Lance and Aunt Shelly and the boys stopped by and saw her. She was so excited! She really showed off. She asked where Landon was, but he rode the bus home from the basketball game and wasn't with them. Uncle Lance found quarters in her ears and she was so excited! (The doctors never do find any money in there.)
We have a full week this week starting with doctor appointments on Monday. Kaysa plays basketball on Tuesday. Hammon and Vici girls made it to the state tournament and they will play their first round on Thursday. Kaysa also has gotten her molluscum contagiousum (basically a virus between the top 2 layers of skin that forms little bumps that have to be cut off so it doesn't spread) back and will have them cut off this week. Then we must get ready to go to Chicago!
Thank you so much for all of the many prayers and support! They are definitely working and are a great blessing to our family. Please continue to pray for us and that they are quick in finding a cure!

Day of Blessing 2/25/09

Kya has had a super day today! She has definitely had a turn around in how she is acting. Kya is full of energy and wound up. Tonight we took her to revival with us. The church was large enough that we were able to sit away from everyone and Kya sat through church with us. She was so excited to get to go! The service was great and Lake has had a great time leading this revival! It has been such a blessing and the church has been praying for Kya from the day of diagnosis!
We also received a call from Dr. O'Neil's nurse and all of Kya's blood work came back in the normal range including her Aldolase! This is the first time since her diagnosis that this has happened! We are extremely excited that these numbers have came down so dramatically. This gives us encouragment that the disease is under control with her combination of medicines. Now, we just have to figure out how to keep it under control as we taper her medicines. But, we know that God will handle that and guide the doctors all of the way.
God just continues to bless us! A special thank you to everyone for all of the many prayers. To those of you who have given us special gifts we really appreciate your support on this journey! We know that it will be a long road, but we have God to lead us along the way.
The Elk Citian ran a special article about Kya today and put her picture in the paper. We are excited to get more people involved and to educate people about this disease. The more we know and can find out the better chance these kids will have at a full recovery!
God is great and he will bless everyone involved! We know that He is in complete control. Please continue to pray for Kya's doctors, her healing, and the many other kids that are struggling with this disease! Thank you again for all of the prayers and support!

Terrific Tuesday 2/24/09

I have had a very good day today! I have been a ball of fire for Grandma Denny. I got to go outside and play this evening for a little while at Grandma Trish's house. My rash is a little brighter this evening, but my movement is great! I even ran from the kitchen to mommy and daddy's room. Thank you so much for all of your many prayers! I know God is healing my body daily! Please continue to pray for me and thank you for again for the many uplifting prayers!
I have had a good day today. Grandma Trish kept me at my house which was fun. I enjoy being at home playing with my toys and just hanging out in my pajamas. The Directv guy was suppose to be putting in new equipment, but things weren't working out right so Grandma was busy on the phone. She had told me I had to take a nap to go to dance so I went in my room and laid down in my bed and went to sleep. Then when I woke up we went and got Great Grandma Reta and went to dance. I did good at dance and only fell down one time, but that wasn't my fault I just couldn't move as fast as the other girls. After dance I went with my 2 Grandmas to get groceries. Then we went and watched Kaysa's first basketball game and she played awesome. They never let the other team score. I was just excited to be out of the house! (Although Grandma Trish wiped everything completely down with antibacterial wipes!)
I have felt really good today and my movement is much better! I am really getting my energy and personality back. (that is a nice way of saying I am back to being a "Terrible 2"!) I think I am going to start getting in trouble for doing things again!
Thank you for the many uplifting prayers! God is so amazing! He has already started healing my body and I know that he can heal me of this disease. Just think God spoke and our world was, He could speak and my disease be gone! Please continue to pray for my healing! Also, please pray for my mommy. She broke her little toe this morning trying to answer the phone so it wouldn't wake me up! Daddy says she is such an accident, but when she does something she does it good! She broke her little toe all the way into the joint! So I have been playing doctor and taking care of her!
Thank you again for all of your prayers! Please don't forget to pray for my doctors and our trip to Chicago! I will remember you in my prayers!

Kya has had another good day today. She spent this morning and part of the afternoon with Mommy and then Grandma Trish kept her while mom went with Daddy to revival at Sentinel. Daddy was glad to have mommy go with him to keep him company on the road. According to daddy the revival went really good. Mommy and Grandma have played with me, read to me, fed me and kept me going most of the day. However, Grandma and her did take a nice nap this afternoon. Kyas appetite seems to be coming back since taking her "yucky" medicine yesterday. Her energy, attitude and overall strength seems to be holding up. We know God is helping her each day to get a little better. Daddy was really impressed when Kya began trotting across the living room pretending to be riding her horse. She was evening clicking to the horse with her voice and she has began to bend her knees better. I have been so blessed today by just watching her improvement. God is Good!! I thank Him every day for people like you who read this blog and who continue to pray for her. Today at revival I sang one of my favorite songs called "Your Grace Still Amazes Me" and it does. God's grace is seen each day in our lives and it always amazes me. I thank you for sharing with us through this journey. God Bless You!!!

Simply Super Saturday

I had a very good day Saturday! I had the strength to do lots of fun things. My rash even looked better on my body. I stayed at home and did chores with mom part of the day. We folded clothes, washed dishes, straightened up the house, peeled potatoes, and made a roast all before lunch! Then we cooked lunch so it would be ready when daddy got home. I helped as much as I could, I was always right behind mommy every step of the way.
I had to take my methotrexate Saturday morning. (I don't like to take it because it makes me have an upset tummy and just feel yucky!) But yesterday it didn't make me feel as bad as usual. It just took away my appetite for a while. Hopefully I will have it back by Monday.
After lunch daddy and I played games. We played a fishing game and whack a mole. I love to play games, especially with my daddy! He is so silly! We play all kinds of games that make me use my muscles to help make them stronger. I realized after playing games with daddy for about an hour and a half that mommy was gone. She had snuck out to go work for a while before she picked up Kaysa from play practice. So daddy and I decided to watch Shrek and he tried to get me to take a nap, (he was tired) but I was not tired!
Later, I got to stay with Grandma Trish for a while. Mommy and daddy went to watch Uncle Lance's ball team play in the regional championship and to watch Landon play. Uncle Lance's team won and Landon got Runner-up! Congratulations! I hope you make it all the way through state for me! I was able to start practicing my dribbling again this week Uncle Lance. I can't wait to see you on the court!
Well, Lazytown is on so I am side tracked and I am getting bored with telling mom what to type. Thank you for your prayers! Please continue to pray for me! My daddy is in revival this week at Sentinel please pray for a good response and for him to have safe travels. God Bless you all! I hope everyone enjoyed church this morning! I miss going to Sunday School and Church! I am ready to see my Johnnie and Juana Kay, maybe I'll see them soon!
Love you all!

A Good Friday!

Kya has had another busy day with Grandma Trish today. She even got to go to the school and stay in the office with Jo for about 30 minutes. When she got home she played outside and picked me some flowers. (I am pretty sure they are weeds and our allergies may not handle them. But, it is the thought that counts!) Grandma and her fed the dog and played on the swing set. She seems to be getting a little stronger each day. Her rash looks pretty good today, it has been pretty red the last two days. She has started watching Pete's Dragon today. I think she has actually watched it 2 times today already. Maybe this will put some variety in our viewing options.
Thank you for your prayers and support! We appreciate each and every prayer that has been said. We know that it is through these prayers that Kya is being healed. Thank you again!

Kya has had a very good day and kept Grandma Trish very busy. She is pretty strong, for her, and in a playful mood. She has been very busy this evening since I have been home. She has been doing exercises, playing ball, playing with playdoh, had a tea party, been a princess going to a ball, and chased balloons (and I have only been home for an hour and a half!). Needless to say, she does many things, but nothing for very long. I don't know if it is the steroids or if it is just being two! Either way it wears us all out. But, we are all thankful that she is back to being mobile and active, not just laying around.
Thank you everyone for the many prayers! We know that they are the source of her strength and progress. We see God each day in her and through her. Her new thing is to talk to her "angels" or about her "angels". I am not sure where all of this is coming from, but if you are around her long you will truly believe that she has definitely had an encounter with them. It gives me cold chills to even think about it. Thank you again for the many prayers!
I received an email from a lady named Angie who has 3 girls. Her youngest was diagnosed with JDM at age 2 and is now 5. Her husband was just relocated to Fort Sill from Washington and she was contacting me about doctors and treatment in Oklahoma. Her daughter is doing really good right now and they are hopeful for a remission with no medicines by summer. Please pray for their family and her 5 year old daughter Becca!
To my Sunday School class thank you so much for the card and gift! I miss you guys so much and I appreciate all of the cards, email contacts, visits, and prayers from each of you! You have been such a blessing and support. Thank you again to everyone in all of the many churches state and nation wide who are praying for Kya! We love you all and know that He will answer our prayers!
Thank you,
Kalee Carpenter

It's Been a Busy Day!

Today we have had a very full and productive day. We arrived at Children's Hospital at 8:30 a.m to experience our first day of physical and occupational therapy. Kya worked and played real hard for over an hour. Nancy our physical therapist was really nice to work with and Kya got along very good with her. We learned some great information regarding the therapy we can do at home and around the house. We hope we can get her to work hard at home like she did today at the hospital!
After the therapy, we went to have our treatment. At first, the treatment was rough because we couldn't get the flow to work right with the port. Then they finally figured out that she has to be laying flat in order for the blood to flow. Once she was laying flat the port worked good and they were able to get the blood samples taken. After they took her blood, the rest of the treatment went well. I admire how Kalee handles Kya during the treatments, she really stays calm even when everyone else in the room is ready to pull their hair out including me. After the treatment, Kya was extremely tired and she rested most of the afternoon and evening!
We are scheduled to go back on March 2nd for another very full day! We shouldn't have to go back until then unless her blood test results are not where they should be. Thank you for your prayers! We appreciate each and every thought and prayer for her healing and for our family.
Thank you!

Fun Day at Grandma's

Kya spent the day with Grandma Trish! She has played and had more strength than she has in a while. Mom said that she has been busy, but not overactive. She has seemed pretty content with just playing and watching movies. We thank the Lord for days like this!
Please remember Kya in your prayers tomorrow as she has a very busy day of appointments. She has physical therapy, occupational therapy, and a treatment tomorrow. This day of appointments will start at 9:00 a.m. and last most of the day! Please pray that she has the strength and endurance to have a good day through it all.
Thank you again for all of the prayers! We have already seen so many blessings in her life and ours!
Thanks Again!

Good Monday February 16th

Kya has had a very good day today! Kaden stayed the night with us last night and they played all morning. She went to bed about 1:00 a.m. and slept pretty good until 9:00 a.m. They played hard all morning and then we left about 1:30 for dance. Kya went to dance and was able to make it the whole time. Then Kaysa took dance and Kya played in the waiting room the whole time. Since they both had a good day we went and ate pizza.
Since we have been home Kya has been playing and enjoying just being at home. Her strength today has been much better and her disposition is 100% improved. Days like this are such a blessing (especially after days like Saturday and Sunday)! We have just learned to thank God for everyday that we have with our kids and take the good ones with the bad.
Thank you so much for your many prayers! We know that God is in control of each day! Please continue to pray for healing and a good day Wednesday. God bless you all!
Kalee
Kya had an OK day yesterday. She went to Grandma Trish's around 9:15 and enjoyed the day playing with Kaden and Grandad. However, she had to take her methotrexate yesterday morning and that just makes her feel pretty bad for a couple of days. I think Grandma experienced one of her famous nights of not being able to sleep and if she can't sleep she isn't going to let anyone else rest either. Sorry mom, I know how long those nights are. We had one Friday night also. I sang Amazing Grace for one hour straight, because if I tried to even pause she would yell!
This morning she has been kind of cranky and clingy. She is also weaker as a whole all over. She is extremely indecisive and can't decide what she wants from second to second. I have tried to do many things around the house, but she follows me around crying that she just wants me to hold her. So, we are officially sitting in the rocking chair for the day!
Thank you so much for your prayers and support! Please continue to pray as we are stretching it until Wednesday before another treatment. I know that with God in control she will make it, I just pray that her body is ready for that. She already seems to be weakening, but I pray that is only because of the methotrexate. Thank you again and God Bless you all! Johnnie and Juana, Kya sure wanted to stay with you this morning!

Feeling Pretty Good on Friday

Kya has had a good Friday and so have Kalee and I. Kya has spent the day with Grandma Trish and according to Grandma they have had a busy day. Since the weather was so nice they went to the river and they played outside for most of the day. Kya was really excited today because her cousin Kaden was also at Grandma's and they enjoyed playing together. Grandad Frank was able to join them for part of the day and by listening to all the stories I can tell they had a fun day. Grandma said Kya seemed to be fairly strong today in her legs but she seemed to be weaker today in her arms and shoulders. We have noticed that her muscle weakness seems to move to the different parts of her body. One day she may be weaker in her knees and legs and then like today it seemed to be more in her arms. Of course, her weakest part seems to stay in her torso and hips. Kalee and I received a phone call today from Chicago and Kya has an appointment in Chicago with Dr. Pachman on Mar. 11th. Dr. Pachman and her staff needed all of Kya's medical records since the day she was born so Kalee worked really hard to get all the doctors and their staff to get everything gathered up for us to send to Dr. Pachman. It was amazing that in just one day she was able to get several doctors and specialist to get us all the records we needed. I want to say THANK YOU to everyone at the different doctors offices and hospitals for working so quickly getting information to us so we could send it to Chicago. We are very excited about getting the opportunity to work with Dr. Pachman. I know between her and Dr. O'Neill we will have the best teams working together for Kya's health and future. After we got off work we quickly got around to get ready to take church pictures. Kya and Kaysa were both very cooperative taking pictures and by looking at the proofs it looks like we may have captured some good ones. Everyone seems to be fairly tired so I think it's about time to try to get to bed. Once again, we thank you for all the prayers. We know God is already working in Kya's life and we feel him working in ours daily.

GOD BLESS!!

GOOD NEWS!

Mommy and I have spent the day together and we have had a good day! I slept in for a while this morning and then watched Horton Hears a Who (I really like that movie)! Then we had to go get a few groceries while Greta bleached and cleaned the house really good to help me stay healthy! (Thanks Greta! You are a great friend!) We got our groceries and came back home in time for sissy and Lauryn to come home from school. Then, I got to go see Grandma Trish when school was out.
I have had pretty good strength today and I haven't been to cranky! My movement has been good and I have gotten up and down some with no help. Dr. ONeill called this afternoon with my lab results. She told my mommy that all of my levels are in the normal range except for my Aldolase. It is still elevated a little bit, but only 1 above the normal high! That is very exciting. That means I don't have to take another treatment until next Wednesday. We are going to see if I can make it a week and a half between treatments and my levels remain good. I hope and pray that my levels continue to stay good so I can get off of some of my steroids!
Also, I want to say thank you to a special lady at BlueCross BlueShield in Tulsa who helped my mommy get my insurance straightened out. Without her I wouldn't be on my way to Chicago and we would still be struggling with billing problems! Annie we appreciate your help and thank you for caring!
Thank you to everyone for all of your prayers, cards, and comments! My mommy reads the cards and comments to me. I like to hear the messages that people send to me and my family. Thank you again to everyone! I love you all!

Kya has had a good day today! Her rash continues to remain a light pink color on her face and it is about to go away on her knees and elbows. As far as her movement goes she seems to be getting up and down with a little more ease. She has even gotten up a few times without pushing down on her knees. And for her spirit, well it is definitely back and in full force! She even wanted to do tricks on the gymnastics mat with her sister tonight (but mommy didn't think she should try to do them without help).
Yesterday Grandma Denny came and kept Kya at home. Kya was glad to get to stay at home and play with her toys. She had a pretty good day, just a little allergy problems, and was in a good mood all day. Today she got to go stay with Grandma Trish. When grandad got home she got to go to the river and play. She has had a fun day of tea parties, Barney, and playing hungry hippos! Right now she is watching Horton Hears a Who and insisting that she is not tired (but, mommy is!).
We did hear from the doctor's office in Chicago yesterday and they will let us know the middle of next week when our appointment will be. We are very excited to add Dr. Pachman to Kya's team of doctors.
Thank you for the prayers, cards, and support! We enjoy hearing from each and everyone of you! We continue to pray for God's will to be done in Kya's life and progress!

SUNDAY AND MONDAY IN REVIEW

Sorry we haven't been up on the posts the last couple of days, but it has been a little hectic. We took Kya to the Dr. Monday at OKC and she ended up having to have another treatment. The Dr. was trying to space them out to every other week, but she isn't quite ready for that. One of her main enzymes, Aldolase, was elevated even more than what we would like for it to be, so we decided to do a treatment while we were already there. We definitely want to stay on top of the treatments and the disease.
However, the treatment and appointment went well. The doctor agreed to work with Dr. Pachman in Chicago and help us get a consultation with her. She is a pediatric rheumatologist who has dedicated her life to this disease. Dr. Pachman is one of the specialists and researchers we met in San Diego who has done all of the research and basically set the norm in treating this disease. So we are in the process, and it is definitely a process, of getting everything together to get in to see her and make the drive to Chicago.
On a positive note, Kya was able to hold her arms above her head for almost a minute and a half!!! That is huge. She could kick the doctors hand that was even with her knees while sitting on Grandma Trish's lap, and she could squat down and stand up with a little assistance and pushing with her arms. These are all things that she could not do even 2 weeks ago! The doctor was very impressed.
The blood vessel inflammation test came back in the normal range so Kya will start Physical and occupational therapy next Wednesday. This will help her get her trunk muscles back. Her trunk muscles are the ones that she has the most loss in and will need more specific help in. We are working with her daily for improvement in her leg and arm muscles.
When we got done with the Dr. and the treatment Kya wanted to go to dance. So we hurried back to Elk City and she made it just in time. She danced for about 30 minutes! This was great considering the day she had already had. She came out and said that she felt "shaky" and she didn't want to tap. I think her balance was just enough off from being tired that she didn't feel real stable.
Another huge improvement is that she has her spirit back and that is very important. Even though we may have "steroid tantrums" we are glad that we are progressing as good as we are.
Thank you for the many prayers! Each thought is appreciated! Please continue to pray for God's hand to be over this whole process and that His will is done! Thank you again to our family for their support from late night phone calls, to babysitting, to running errands, emails, text messages, meals, cards, stickers, and just emotional support we love you all! To our extended family and friends I never knew how many people could really care for one little girl! You have made a huge difference! To the people we have never even met that are praying for us I say "Thank You and God Bless You!"
With God in charge Kya will be in the best hands! My dad has always said "It takes a village to raise a child." I know for a fact that it will take at least that for this one and we appreciate you being a part of that process! Thanks again!

A Day with Daddy

Before I type any further let me first warn you that this is Kya's dad and he is not as "experienced" in blogging as Mom and Grandma Trish. However since Kya spent most of the day with Dad and Mom is not feeling well, Dad gets the chance to blog. Today Kya has had a good day. She woke up a little weak but after a trip to Elk City with mom this morning she began to pick up some steam. Since mom had some work to do at the bank, her and I went to Butler from Elk City. Since the weather was so pretty we took advantage of it. Thankfully, mom had covered us with sun block so we got to spend some time outside. Most of the time was in the shade but it still felt good. We went to grandads farm and saw all the horses. Kya even stood up in the pickup and reached out the window to pet one of my favorite mares named Sue. After visiting the farm we went to see my grandparents (Kya's great grandparents Arthur and Wina Vee Carpenter) They were having lunch at home and we visited with them while they had their lunch. Kya played hard at their house and Grandad Art (that's what we call him) was so impressed he decided she needed a Pepsi to refresh her. Of course, Pepsi is Kya's favorite kind of soda so that was a big hit. Then Grandma kept sharing her chips and she enjoyed that very much. After spending about two hours with them, we decided to head back to Leedey. We did a few mores chores and then Kya helped me with some yard work. She was a great helper and her movement was much better. She climbed up and down on our front porch bench and in our yard we have a little statue of a boy sitting on the bench with a glove and ball with a puppy by his side. Kya sat there and talked to that little boy and she even bent down and stood up to feed him and his puppy some mulch and grass. I was so happy to see her bend down and then get up on her own. She didn't do it real fast but at least she did it. She also told me that the little boy was an angel. In fact, today she has told me she was talking to her angel at 3 different times. Once at Elk City, once at Grandad Art's and then at home. Know one has ever heard Kya talk about or to her angels until today. I told her to just keep visiting with her angel. I was blessed by watching her. Then after we worked in the yard we went to Grandma Trish house. As of right now, she is still going. She is very tired but throughtout the day she has been a great trooper. She hasn't been cranky or irritable. I am really proud of her attitude and I thank God that he gave her a good day today. Please keep praying and I want you to pray for Kalee since she is feeling ill. Thanks for reading and bearing with my blogging inexperience. God Bless You!!

Kya has had a very good day today! Her attitude has been much better and she seems to be feeling better. Her movement is still very limited, but she seems a little stronger. She has been catching up on her rest and this seems to make a huge difference! She is definitely ready to go home and be in her own house. She even says she misses her closet.
Thank you very much for the prayers! Please continue to pray as we meet with our doctor Monday and we have been in contact with the doctor in Chicago. Just pray that God's will be done in her treatment and in lining up her team of doctors.
Thanks Again,
Kalee

kya i feel hhappyyyy!!!
Well this isn't how I usually start my blog, but that is what Kya wanted to do. When you have a two year old on steroids who wants to type, you let her type!
As you can problably tell she is feeling better today. She is not as irritable and indecisive. She definitely knows what she wants and when she wants it, but that is a good thing. She seems to move with a little more comfort and has even wanted to play ring around the rosy. We have played it several times and she has even been able to get herself up many of those times. She has moved around more tonight. She is not just laying around and watching TV. She sat in her chair for quite sometime and played with crayons and colored. These are things that she hasn't done in a while!
Thank you for your prayers! Please continue to pray for God's will to be done in our lives and that we follow His path in her treatment! Thank you again for all of the support, emails, and phone calls!
Thank You,
Lake, Kalee, Kaysa, and Kya

Today has been an interesting day for Grandma Trish. Kya has definitely been a two year old on steroids today. She doesn't know what she wants or when she wants it. She has been very cranky and indecisive. Restlessness and irritability, I believe are what they call these side effects. She has been a little weaker overall in her leg strength. However, she has gotten up a couple of times from the floor by herself. We thank the lord for giving us Grandma Trish who has patience! Thank you for the many prayers and concerns. Please continue to pray for Kya and our family! (We all are going to need it!)
Thanks Again!

A DAY FOR PRAISE!!!

Today has been a good day. Kya rested pretty well last night and woke up in a good mood. Although, when she figured out it was just her and I she said "No Doctors!". She already had it figured out! But, we got around and went to Oklahoma City for her treatment. When we got there she said she would stay in the car! But I told her we were going to go see Mavia and that we would get it done with no ouchies! She saw Mavia coming down the hall and she gave her a hug and kiss. Then we went back and she said this is my room. Mavia was able to access the port very easily and it worked so smoothly! Kya even called her daddy to tell him "No Ouchies"! We only had to spend and hour and a half in the infusion room compared to 3 to 5 hours we have in the past. What a blessing!
We didn't get to see the doctor, but Mavia gave us our lab results. All of her enzymes but one were back into the acceptable normal range. The Aldolase, which is what really measures the disease, is still above the normal range. But, it has dropped a whole lot and is just barely above the acceptable high of the normal range. None of this may makes sense to anyone (it is pretty confusing for me), but all of the enzymes have to be in the normal range for any possiblity of remission. With only one out of the normal that is super! They were all at least double, some more than triple, the normal high when we started. This also means that she is responding to all the treatments. We also got back her Celiac test and it was negative. Which means that the medicine will absorb correctly and she can still eat wheat and flour products.
So THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO HAS BEEN PRAYING! Please continue to pray because our journey is not nearly over, but today has been an uplifting day. I just know that God has big plans in the life of this little girl! Thank you again for the prayers and support they have been greatly aprreciated! Please pray for Lake to get well so our family can all be back together soon!
Our prayer is for God to lead Kya's health team in the direction he wants. Please let her be a miracle and blessing to them.
Greatly Blessed!
Lake, Kalee, Kaysa and Kya

Kya has had a pretty good afternoon. She went to dance and lasted most of the time. Then she came home and watched Barney with Grandma Trish. She is kind of cranky tonight, but she has had a busy afternoon. Thank you for your prayers and please continue to pray. We have a treatment tomorrow at Oklahoma City! Once again thank you for all of the prayers and concern! We are blessed to have such a network of friends!

Today started off pretty rough, but has ended up being a fairly good day. This morning my rash looked better, but my legs just were not working. I would just be standing there still and they would give out on me. I took several tumbles this morning and finally decided I would just sit on my bench and watch Barney. (I can yell for mommy and she will get me whatever I want anyway!) I took a late, but long, nap and since then I have been moving a little better. However, I woke up very cranky so we went driving around. I saw horses, cows, and a rabbit! We went to the quick trip and got a Dr. Pepper and some Fritos, but I didn't eat many of them. My medicine that I have to take on Saturday mornings makes me not feel to well. So I haven't eaten anything but a few slices of bread today.

But, we have had several tea parties with my new dishes! (Thanks Johnnie Ruth!) I have even been playing little red riding hood this evening with the basket!

Please continue to pray for me! I hope to see everyone soon! (I am tired of just seeing my mommy!) Thank you for all of your prayers!
