Good News! Dr. ONeill called yesterday afternoon and said that Kya's Aldolase was 5.7. That is very well in the normal range. We are very excited about this and we pray that she continues to maintain as we taper her off of some of her steroids! She has been feeling pretty good and very playful! She has complained quite a bit about her tummy hurting, but she hasn't gotten sick. We are not quite sure what is going on with that right now.

ReplyDeleteI am so happy that Kya's Alsolase is in the normal range. We had to reschedule Kelsi's appt with Dr. P until June 17, when will you be there? You are all in our prayers daily, and you are so right about it being hard on siblings, not only worrying about the sister that is sick, but not knowing how to express when they are scared/worried about their sister.
Prayers do work. And I just know that Kya is going to get stronger eveyday and beat this JDM monster.
